Support
Recovering from burn
injuries is frequently a long-term process. Beyond the hospital,
patients may require sets of pressure-healing garments. These
items are very costly, as are other devices such as prosthetics,
special braces or shoes, and the rental of treatment beds.
The Firefighters Burn Fund Victoria, BC helps to pay for these
and other medical equipment.
